Tony Heykoop

Founder
Chairman of the Board

Tony is a native of Michigan and joined the US Air Force following high school.  It was in the AF he met his wife Mindy.  They were married in 1990.  After 21 years in the AF, they retired in Arkansas where Tony went back to work for the AF as a civilian.  He holds two associate degrees from the Community College of the Air Force (Criminal Justice and Information Systems Management).  They have three sons, one of which is a missionary.  Tony also serves as a deacon, youth leader, and on the security team at First Baptist Church Vilonia.  His passion for mission work, especially within the persecuted church, is why he desired to start a missionary retreat, “Cleft of the Rock Ranch.”  He now serves as co-founder and Executive Director for the Ranch.

Mindy Heykoop

Founder
President

Mindy is a native Arkansan and joined the US Air Force as a communications specialist following some time in college.  It was in the AF she met her husband Tony and they married in 1990.  After her first son was born, she decided being a fulltime mom was more valuable than an AF career.  She travelled a lot with her husband taking care of all three of their sons.  Once she settled back in Arkansas, she started her own business, Mindy’s-In-Stitches.  She created her own line of girls’ clothes and maintains a successful embroidery business. She served as an Awana Director for years and now serves as a youth leader.  Her love for persecuted Christians gave her a devoted heart when one of her sons went into serving in that part of the world as a missionary.  She is the co-founder of Cleft of the Rock Ranch and serves as a board member.
